Our Preschool class had so much fun at the park today!  They ran, climbed, swung, played in the sand box, and climbed some more!  What a beautiful park!  And the weather wasn't too bad, either.  We got back to school in time for lunch and a nice long nap!  Thanks you, Miss Cheree and Miss Kelly for taking the preschool class on such a fun field trip!

Our pea garden has produced some beautiful peas!  They didn't last long, though!  We've eaten them right off the vine!  Email us pictures of your garden, and we will post them on our blog!

We had a "popcorn volcano" for snack today.  We left the top off of the popcorn popper and let it explode!  We had a great time with dress-up and movie day, and enjoyed eating the exploded popcorn!

What a beautiful day today!  With schools out now, it's the perfect time for vacations, water play, and goofing off!  Please don't forget to sunscreen your children before school, and we'll re-apply it after nap.  
Hope you have fun things planned for the summer break!  We'll have lots of water play opportunities, so feel free to leave a swim suit and towel (labeled, of course) here for your child to enjoy the sprinkler and water tables as the mood arises.  Enjoy the sunshine!

Happy Father's Day, Dads!

We're so glad to be welcoming SUMMER!  The Penguins Class (after school program) is really excited!  Our 3rd grade students finished the MSP testing (Measurements of Student Progress), which I'm sure they'll do very well in this year.  The kids love their elementary school teachers, and we're so lucky to have such good ones in our school district.  We're getting ready for the Summer Camp Program, and are looking forward to the fun activities and field trips.  Hope you have some fun things planned, too!  Remember, drop-in care is available for school age Summer Camp, so give us a call for more info.  Have a sunny day!

Hi Happy Toddlers!!  See how well we play together?!  Our "seasoned" toddler can show our new friends how to rock in the boat!

We have a fun week planned: we're studying about dinosaurs this month, so we're reading "How Do Dinosaurs..."; we'll make paper plate and hand print dinosaurs, we'll walk, talk, and even eat like dinosaurs this month!  We have dinosaurs to play with in the classroom, and are having fun building towers and caves for them.
