Our youngest learners experience nature through sensory exploration. We provide safe, natural materials for them to touch, smell, and observe, stimulating their senses and fostering a love for the outdoors. Tummy time on soft blankets under the shade provides a calming connection to the earth.
Preschooler
Preschoolers engage in nature-based investigations, planting seeds, observing insects, and learning about the life cycles of plants and animals. Outdoor play supports gross motor development and problem-solving skills, while fostering creativity and inquiry through activities like creating meals in the mud kitchen, which also enhance language development and social engagement.
Toddler
Toddlers actively explore nature with supervised walks, discovering the wonders of leaves, sticks, and crawling creatures. We sing songs and read stories about nature, and engage in messy play with natural materials like mud and water, sparking curiosity and creativity.
Pre-K
Our Pre-K students participate in nature walks and outdoor science experiments, learning about weather patterns, ecosystems, and the interconnectedness of living things. We cultivate their observation skills through nature journaling and encourage environmental stewardship through recycling and composting activities.
