Congratulation: Miss Mary for completing the STARS Basic Training course, and earning your certificate!
Miss Kelly's vacation: Miss Kelly will be on vacation from the 6th to the 20th, to help her mom re-cooperate from knee replacement surgery. Miss Rita will cover.
Center Closed: The Discovery Center will be closed on Monday the 20th for President’s Day.
Welcome: Welcome Miss Adrienne Obregon as the new Lead Teacher in the Seagulls Room! We’re very excited to have you as part of our Discovery Center family. Your years of experience and education will be a further asset to our program.
Elementary non-school days: Thurs. 16th, Fri. 17th and Mon. 20th elementary schools are closed for mid-winter break. Please sign up for care (available 16th and 17th only).
Recognition Award:January’s award goes to (drum roll, please…) Miss Brandy for the ease in which she’s transitioned the infants to the Waddlers! Her kindness and understanding for their growing developmental needs has not gone unnoticed! Congratulations!!
Field Trips: The Bears Class is going to the Kids Quest Museum in Factoria on Wed. 22nd from 9:30-12:00. $5 charge. Seagulls class is going to the Kirkland Public Library for story time on Mon. 27th from 10:00-11:00. Free.
